Great smoke shop if you want a hooka and strange dread-locked staff. They claim to be the largest humidor in BZM but the selection is very limited. I needed warranty service for a Xikar lighter. They are a dealer but would not help me. I asked on 1 visit and got a definite NO, then I got a sure bring it in. When I brought it in I got a take care of it yourself! I spend $50/week on cigars but somewhere else.
Visiting family in Bozeman and was looking for a cigar fix. I took my son-in-law in and found a couple we'd enjoy. After receiving a great education from the guy behind the counter about pipe smoking I thought I'd return the next day to get him a tobacco pipe as a gift. During the visit the next day I found the guy behind the counter, a different guy, to be equally helpful and enlightening. He set me up with a great starter kit with everything needed for the first time pipe owner.
This is where I buy all of my tobacco. The prices are great and the staff are always friendly
Johnson is who I usually interact with at Poor Richard's and he is AWESOME! I've bought both pipe tobacco and cigars off of his recommendation and haven't been disappointed yet. He is extremely knowledgeable not only about the tobacco itself buy where it was grown, who it was aged, etc. Overall an excellent source of information and a great resource to have. Overall the store is very nice, has a good selection with a large amount of variety. I would definitely (and often do) recommend to a friend.
The customer service is TERRRRIBLE ! The guy that works afternoons is an incompetent ass hole, I take my business and tell everyone else to go to Mellow Moods on Campus !
