I made an appointment because my truck was leaking something and told them it was likely a water pump failing or coolant leak. They were able to get me in the following week.
Not happy...
Scott and the team are masters of their craft. Friendly and professional!
Long-running family-run establishment. Care about honesty and show you the parts that they recommend replacing. Friendly and helpful in answering questions.
Be careful going to this shop! I had a 2000 Chrysler 300M with only 103,000 miles on it. I paid over a $1,000 to get my timing belt replaced keep up on car maintenance. 3months later I developed I loud wining noise. So I took itI backstop this shop. They charged me $54 to tell me my car was blown up. I asked of they tore into the engine to see what happened he said no. But the guys in the shop say its blown up. I asked for any recommendations of what to do next since my $3,000 car with a brand new timing belt randomly blew up.The response I got was take it to Pacific. I called Pacific they stated they would give me $100. Needless to say that auto shop is full of dishonest people. I decided I would parts my car because I could get more money for it. Luckily didn't take it to the scrap yard amd instead drove home to park it and try and sell it. On my quick travel home from the shop the whining noise stopped.I later discovered my car wasnt even blown up!. I almost scrapped it because I was so mad that it blew up. I trusted Keyser. But wanted to write a review to warn you. Always get a second opinion! My low miles 2000 car was NOT blown up!
They charged me $104 to read the 'Service Engine' diagnostic (which I've never been charged for anywhere else), had my truck for two days, couldn't find the coolant leak, and sent me on my way. Three weeks later, I arrived at a friend's house, way out of town, in a snow storm, with smoke billowing out from under my hood and a huge puddle in their driveway.
They are just in the business to screw you over-- needed my front differential taken apart and looked at. Left with him all day and told me at the end that I needed to replace my ring and pinion- $3,000 and 5 days in the shop. All of this based on NOTHING. Never took my differential cover off to look at the gears. Took to blacksmoke deisel for a second opinion and had my truck back in a day just for a $200 bearings repair. Nice staff but NEVER going there again.
Despite the appointment, they had my truck for two days and never initiated a call to give me an update on their findings or progress.
