I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! I came to their office, not only was I treated with disrespect, but wasn't given the time of day at all as a new patient. With my insurance, I only had one more Doctors appointment for the year, so after calling around I decided on Community Health Partners as they were the only ones to get me in and I had a few issues to discuss. As soon as Dr. Kristi King walked into my room, she said "we have 15 minutes decide which issue is more important that you want to discuss". I called in advance to set up a NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENT, so they should have blocked off enough time. After going over my symptoms, she basically gave me no direction and told me I could schedule a 2nd appointment so she can discuss the issues in more detail (that's what this appointment was for?!?). She also refused to refill any of my prescriptions from my previous doctor (I just moved to the area) and told me I would also need a second appointment for that. Dr. King also told me that she's behind schedule now because I kept her over. DO NOT GO HERE! Not to mention as soon as I walked in the woman who took my initial information was discussing politics and basically pushed me to side with her, made me super uncomfortable. Glad I wasted my only appointment for the year on this joke of a place.

Rude and not helpful!!! Never going back!!!

There may be waits, there may be misses in communication. The admin side may be a tiny bit upside down at times. I have had a behavioral health specialist conduct client abandonment. It's not perfect. I have not had a provider's office that is perfect, that I can think of.

I believe I have used CHP for my primary health care since 2007. Having been through 3 providers (1 who moved on, 2 who retired) I have had excellent care, *after* finding the right fit. I recommend individuals read provider profiles, ask around and see more than one provider before deciding. CHP offers a SLIDING FEE SCALE that carries to the hospital as well as other providers, with CHP referral. Saturday morning until noon they offer ACUTE CARE drop in appointments for current patients, at least at the Bozeman location. There is AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY CARE for current patients by calling the hospital and they'll connect you to the CHP provider on call, who will phone you to consult.

I have been a full-time patient here at CHP for 20 years with the same PA, Liesl Pessl. I've gone through periods of having Blue Cross/Blue Shield Ins and also Medicare so I can see any Dr. in town that I wish to see. Various individuals have encouraged me to see 'real' doctors since I have 'real' insurance. On different occasions, I have seen other specialists by referral from Liesl. Twice when she was out of town, I saw 'real' doctors and was treated by others like I was stupid and asked too many questions. (I have three post-graduate degrees.) Liesl is real and the staff here are all wonderful to work with. If you think this is a second-rate street clinic, then you are very much wrong. Every person, from receptionists to doctors, are courteous and friendly. I couldn't possibly rate them higher or recommend them more highly. Excellent to work with!

While the staff is knowledgeable, plan to spend 3 plus HOURS for a first appointment from start to finish, and roughly an hour and a half for established patient visits. Getting in to be seen is not easy. I had a child with strep symptoms that they couldn't get in to be seen for 2 weeks. Ended up having to go to the Zip Clinic for something as simple as a strep infection. Not overly impressed.
