Totally worthless! They never do anything more than refer you to Helena. About the only thing I've found that they can do is give flu shots (which do nothing)! Other than that us veterans might as well have their primary care at Helena-at least we might actually get something accomplished.

I actually have good things to say about the clinic. Of course they send you to helena for things they can't do there.

I'm with Hasteya. Some of the care has suffered due to personnel changes but not enough to have an effect. These folks have almost always been here for me except when a they experience personnel shortages. If you don't like this place you can choose to go to Helena. I have NEVER had any issue getting care here, period. Been going here now for over seven years too. Thank you to ALL of you here, you make us feel appreciated when the "VBA" couldn't possibly care any less about us.
Dr. Watkins & Barbara are the best. Both are professional, caring, and all around great people. Bob (?) at the front desk has always been helpful, even while in the midst of a firefight of requests and phone calls from every direction. As with any medical facility, you'll get out of it, what you put into it. Openness and honesty are critical to receiving great care. After all, the staff are not mind readers or magicians. They won't know what's up, if we don't tell them exactly how we're feeling & how we're doing. I've spent hundreds of hours in healthcare facilities, and on balance, I've no complaints with the Montana VA System. Even with all the burocratic nonsense Washington DC puts on their shoulders, the staff does a great job, under trying conditions!
