when I ordered dessert I was told it would be 20 minutes for my turnover; they could have mentioned that on the menu. The coffee was lukewarm; I asked them to warm it up but… they don’t have a microwave. They said they could brew another pot, but… that would be another 10 minutes.
Came here for dinner last week when we were visiting Bozeman and we had a fantastic experience! I had to try the mac and cheese and it was phenomenal! The whole staff was welcoming especially our server, Brooke. She was so sweet and knowledgeable with an upbeat personality! Brooke also recommended the scallops and we loved them!
Ate here with a group on a Saturday night. It can be a little loud, the place is really one big room (though I'm not sure what place wouldn't be loud on a Saturday night). It seemed like it too a little longer to get our food but we did take awhile to order and it gave us a chance to enjoy our cocktails. Food was good. Everyone seemed pleased with what they ordered. I had the elk burger and it was cooked perfectly.
What amazing Mac and cheese! We’ve heard people raving about it and it’s just as good as expected! Maybe even better than expected! Our waiter, Jim, was so much fun and very attentive! He kept us smiling all through dinner! He recommended mixing the egg in with the Mac and we weren’t disappointed. All around a fabulous experience! We will return, hungry for more!
Cant say we loved the Squire House. they had some interesting but expensive cocktails. The salads were good. Some of the entrees were OK; Kim had a scallop entree that was good. I had salmon that was underdone but covered in too much salmon eggs. The pork entree was doused with a sweet glaze.
Expressed frustration to manager Joe for menu items being unavailable, dessert being misrepresented and he walked away with an attitude. Disrespectful. Server helpful.
