Helpful staff and a compact, urban atmosphere. This store is a great resource.
Owenhouse Hardware has the best customer service of any business in town. I simply love walking in this store and I do so frequently. Recently, I bought a multi-meter and some thermostats there. I got home and had trouble wiring them. I called Owenhouse and their employee Facetimed me and showed me how to wire it. He made my day because I would have never figured it our myself!
Just enough of everything. You can cut your boards here for your projects if you ask nicely. Some of the nicest kitchen odds and ends in town here as well, which I love. Also, they carry individual ice cream bars on the cheap, which is a blessing on hot days!
EXCELLENT SERVICE. During the second day of our trip, some of our fishing gear broke out the back window of our SUV that my folks are planning to pull behind our RV all the way back to Alabama. We didn't have enough time to order a replacement window, so we opted for plexiglass. I stopped by the downtown Bozeman Ace Hardware and several staff members assisted me as I worked on getting a 24x48 piece of plexiglass formed into an oddly shaped window. Several staff members checked on my in the parking lot while I worked and the manager, Ron went out of his way to hook me up with the perfect tool in their shop that made the job much easier. Very please I went to Ace instead of another big box hardware store.
Owenhouse was not able to tune up our lawn mower because it wasn't a Honda brand mower (although it has a Honda motor). That struck me as rather dumb.
