This was a horrible experience for me. I went into the office to obtain a clothing voucher for the thrift store, and left feeling like trash. I live out of my van, am often outside and I needed new shorts, socks and underwear. I was treated like I was trying to scam them, and the lady acted like I was a huge inconvenience for her. I went in and asked if they were doing vouchers today, since I went last Friday and they were not. She said "well it depends, I'm really busy" and then she started asking me questions and finally I had to say, in front of men in the waiting room, that I didn't have any underwear or socks, and I needed new shorts. She was SO skeptical of me, but processed the paperwork and took my Identification. She called me back in a quick manner, and as I walked up to the window/desk I had recalled that I also meant to say I needed a sleeping bag (living in your van gets cold). I told her this and she told me she couldn't do that. I said "but the box is right there, you can't just mark it?" and she told me she wouldn't do it. Ok. So off I head to the thrift store, where on the paper voucher I noticed I was only allowed 1 pair of "socks/underwear" at the price of $2. So I had to choose between socks and underwear, and I chose socks because I can't walk around without them. My shoes are becoming unbearable, as everyone knows how shoes turn without socks. I was however able to get a pair of shorts which I am truly grateful for, as my other pair were not holding up and exposing my bottom. I just cannot for the life of me, understand how the "Salvation Army", who's mission is to assist the needy, can treat someone in need so below par. Not to mention people donate these things! You're telling me you won't allow me to get at least a couple pair of socks? I'm not allowed to receive a voucher for a $3 sleeping bag when fall and winter are approaching? All in all, it's not even so much what I was allowed and denied. The attitude that I received from another human being when I needed help, left me appalled. I hope that Linda doesn't treat other people like that. Although I assume the fact that I am a younger female with tattoos probably created some internal bias within this woman. It's not like I have a secret job and wasting all my money on tattoos, there all from another time in my life! It's just blind judgement. Hope others have better luck.

Place was well organized, staff was very odd about my kids needing to use the restroom. Made it awkward.

Nice and clean, but not the crazy bargains you associate with a thrift store.

My favorite thrift store in Bozeman to shop at! I love the employees :)

Really cheap prices with a good variety of items. My only caution is to be sure to check out all your items well before purchasing and confirm the prices on your receipt - we found a fairly substantial error. Helpful staff. Most recommended of the 4 thrift shops we visited that day.
