This is probably one of my favorite outdoor stores. They have a great selection of outdoor gear, but their prices tend to be just a bit higher than you can get if you shop around.
Continually impressed with the service here in Optics and Fishing departments. (Little experience with service in the rest of the store). Each employee consistently exceeds my expectations for the amount of knowledge and expertise they have. It's clear that these folks actively participate in their departments' activities outside of work. A simple question can frequently lead to a long and detailed conversation on, for example, learning to use a baitcasting reel, training techniques for dog recall collars, different retrieval types with plastics for midday bass, etc. They are honest and very pleasant to talk with. Most cashiers, like Ashley, are very friendly and cheerful and leave me with a great impression on my way out the door. Only negative feedback I have is the service at the line spooling/archery counter. It is often a long wait for help, but I attribute that to understaff more than individuals. Will continue to make this my primary store for general hunting and fishing goods.
Showed up to buy a handgun we'd previously found in Billings last year but forgot brand, tried explaining it to sales person and they said they didn't know and walked away. Five employees were standing around. Three were helping one person and one was helping the other employee on 'that' employees'purchase!!! I mean seriously, what ever happened to good work ethics?! Purchasing a weapon and undergoing background check during working hours?!
We bought a new Weber Barbaque there. The price was $145 and $56 for the cover. It looks like it is made very well and hopefully we will get good service from it. The store was huge and it had a good selection of sporting goods especially hunting and all kinds of camping equipment. I could have spent some money in there if I had some to spend. I would go there again. Since we purchased the grill it stopped working properly due to a bad regulator. We returned it for a new one with no problem. The store policy is 100 percent costomer satisfaction. It's true!
I think they have a great selection of clothing, outdoor gear, guns, archery, and more. Helpful staff, generally readily available and able to offer good advice on products.
