Perfect pack for mountain hunting. Light weight and holds plenty of weight when packing out!
My Sky 5100 has been an incredible pack and has allowed me to carry loads I wouldn’t have dreamed of before, up to 130 lbs. FYI I only weigh 137 lbs. After 3 years my pack is still going strong after having packed a moose, a black tail deer, 2 Caribou, 2 mountain goats and 2 Dall Sheep.

I have been familiar with this brand for awhile and finally ponied up and bought a day pack system for hunting, hiking and shooting at ranges where you have to carry all your gear from point to point to engage targets. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality and real world ingenuity of this product line. I was impressed with how much stuff you can cram on this frame with the load shelf and the convenient simplicity of the pack itself, and it is so comfortable to wear. When properly manipulated your cargo does not move, no annoying bouncing or weight shifting! I am tired of cheap packs that only last a season at best. The company is owned and operated by good people who are passionate about their product and even more so about the outdoors and wildlife conservation. My advice is to buy at least a pack size bigger than you think you need and watch all the instructional videos. Thanks Stone Glacier.
