I chose Animal Medical Center because it is the only vet practice that is in town. All of the others are outside of Bozeman. It is close enough to walk to and easy to find. A good way to keep your dog relaxed when going to the vet is to walk him there. That way, he knows where he is, and he isn't keyed up when he arrives since he has had a chance to relieve himself and stretch his legs. I have had nothing but good experiences with this vet practice. When I came to pick up my dog after he'd been neutered, he was hanging out in the front office with the receptionists, calm and relaxed and happy. This is the only vet I have ever taken him to and he likes it there. Everyone is calm and knowledgeable and competent. I would highly recommend this animal center. The vet told me things about my dog's breed (Australian shepherd) that I did not know. I was impressed that he was familiar with the breed and willing to share his knowledge with me.
We've been taking our pets to AMC for 14 years. We loved Dr Barrows! But there have been changes lately and now it feels like the only thing they care about is cleaning out your wallet. We gave them so much money and they never could figure out what was wrong with our dog. They REFUSED to share her medical records with the other vets or even us unless we paid a BS fee. 14 years of patronage obviously meant NOTHING to them. The vibe there is no longer that they care for your pet. They just want to lighten your wallet. Stay away!!
The Animal Medical Center has been a great place to bring my bird the last 3 years. They handle him wonderfully and give me excellent information about his health and well being. The cost is more than fair and the staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend anyone who has pets that they love to go to Animal Medical Center for all their pets' health care needs.
Animal Medical Center has been taking care of my weenie dogs for over 15 years. They have always provided excellent care and understand that your pets are part of the family. When my dogs require boarding they always have figured out a way to take care of them for me. I would highly recommend them.
Don't go here, they conveniently raised the prices before I came in, extremely overpriced and unknowledgeable. They only care to empty your pockets, and can't explain how they come up with the ridiculous fees they add, charge you for unnessary things to make $ They lost me and my 2 dogs as customers. I am going to faithful friends now.
