Finding Foothills has been an absolute blessing! The entire staff is so sweet and they genuinely care about you and your pets. The environment is very laid back and each visit we make is never stressful. We are so happy to bring all of our pets there as the doctors are thorough with their exams. It's so nice to finally have a vet practice that treats you like family and are genuinely invested in your pets than to go to a place where it's strictly business and it seems more about the money than the care. I recommend Foothills to anyone who wants the best for their furbabies! You will not be disappointed!
The staff are as friendly as they get, but my experience with the care of my two small cats was unsatisfactory. I left the office for the last time knowing that I would never return. In addition to taking my kittens in for routine rounds of shots, we discovered the male had a urinary issue and needed a special diet. We were put through the ringer as far as cost, time, and efficiency. Dr. Rosenthal seemed fine, but Dr. Quigley came across as very spacy and disorganized - I continuously reminded her of what was going on with my cat, and never got the same answer twice. If I hadn't been on top of the situation, my cat would not have been treated properly; they also tried to charge me an extra $80 at the last visit when all shots had been previously paid for in a bundle package (again, I would have paid the amount if I hadn't questioned it...) The last straw was having to wait 3 weeks for a call-back about what to do next as far as diet plans - I called and left several messages in those weeks to no avail.
They take good care of our two dogs and two cats.
Do not go to this place. I brought my kitten in because she was having an upper respiratory infection, and they put her on antibiotics causing her to completely forget where her litter box is and poop all over our apartment after never having had an accident, resulting in costing me hundreds of dollars. After looking up the side effects of the medication I saw that this may be the problem so I called to get information on why this was happening and they said the medication is great and it doesn't have any side effects. So either they intentionally lied to me to cover there own ass or they are very uneducated and irresponsible "Veterinarians". Then a couple days later I noticed my cat had blood in her stool, so I called the vet back to gain some understanding and they said they would get back to me when the doctors were available. They never called me back and after multiple more attempts at contacting the vet, they still will not contact me. If you truly care for your animal I strongly suggest you try a different Vet. Very nice people that work there but if you want professionals then don't go there.
