Staple level hotel in that they do the majors well: comfy bed, decent check out time (11a is always better than 10a), continental breakfast is reasonable. Space in the standard room is tight and they do not have outlets well placed in the room (nothing near either night stand is a definite oversight). The two lights (hallway and room) are not enough to call the room well lit. Your window will do the work. Bathroom is clean, with decent space. Shower lacks pressure but I find that to be the norm at most hotels of this nature.
Comfy bed amazing swimming pool and hot tub the staff is sweet and helping the rooms are clean organized and a two bedroom also has a bench by the window with a veiw.
I booked a "Suite" - thinking that the name meant that there was a 'wall' or partition between the bed and sofa sleeper - NOT!!! AND the mattress on the sofa sleeper was a spring mattress where you could feel EVERY COIL in it. HORRIBLE. Since there were only 3 and not 4 of us in the room, the person on the sofa, folded it back up the second night and just used the sheets on the couch and it was much better - but could not stretch out full length, of course. I WILL NOT be returning to this hotel. Door handle to get in one of the entrances was a two-handed job - not easy with bags or children in tow. Breakfast room accomodated 12 people. ONE waffle maker - which was busy non-stop and had a line waiting to use it both mornings we were there.
Awesome pool. Friendly staff. Clean quiet rooms. Breakfast is typical 3-star hotel breakfast- you know what I'm talking about- cereal, hard bagels, yoghurt, waffles. Nothin fancy but the price is right and I'd definitely stay here again on a trip through Bozeman.
The two stars are generally because of this issue. The staff were great, sincerely, and everything else went well. Bugs on the pillow, though, from the a/c unit... No thank you.
My family checked in here for 1 night and in that time alone we’ve seen how incredibly clean, organized and what great quality the room we are in is and how clean the building is, plus the free breakfast has a variety of options which makes it the exception to the free breakfast that other motels/hotels fall short on. The prices are extremely reasonable and you get more for the money then what others offer. The cleaning staff are very professional, polite and courteous. Then to top it off, the front desk associates, especially “Roxy” is the most pleasant and professional business woman we’ve met since arriving in Bozeman, for these reasons we’re staying several more nights until our apartment is ready to move into. Roxy is making our first impressions in Bozeman positive and because of her professionalism we will come back here anytime we need a place to stay for a night and will recommend this place to everybody.
1 caveat, and this will turn some of you off: while the swamp cooler A/C unit is new and is efficient for the room size, watch out for the gnats that it sucks in from the outside world. I came in after work, where the unit had been on all day and my pillow had 15 to 20 dead gnats on it, blown in from the fan. Not awesome.
