Marc: I wish you had rented from Ken not from cruise America. Like u, I did a a lot of research & comparison in 2014 as it was my 1st time renting RV. I called a few times too & they were answered by his long time assistant (a lady, forgot her name) who was very helpful but one time sounded impatient. I knew why when I visited - it is a small business & everyone is quite busy most of times. When it comes to actual rental, I was extreme happy with my experience, Ken is a guy who is in RV service business for 35+ years! His employee (a great guy, forgot his name) spent an hour explaining everything in detail, gave us Ken's cell # so we could call anytime with questions. We had a small accident last day & broke the side mirror (we did not buy insurance), Ken & the guy checked it carefully & figured they could fix it themselves so only charging us a small fee (
No customer service in regards to RV Rental. I called today to try to ask some basic questions and the gentleman who answered the phone just seemed confused and frustrated that I wanted to call and ask 5 questions before I made a $1200+ purchase. Do you rent folding chairs, what are your dump fees, what is in the housekeeping kit..these seem like fairly simple common questions. I got your drift though, I am an idiot for trying to compare and price and make an informed decision, I am overthinking it and clearly I just need to go to Cruise America and rent the same RV for $660.00. Thanks for making the decision clear for me
We used C&T to rent an RV last summer. We drove down through Yellowstone, into Tetons, and back. We were extremely pleased with this company. There are many, many things about them that made their service exceptional. The RV was close to brand new and in perfect condition. They spent about an hour going through every little detail on how to operate the RV. They also had phone contacts for us during the trip so we could check on things if we had questions. They were always very happy to help. All of their RVs are their own, unlike other national chains where people rent one-way and are less likely to take such good care of the equipment. The price was good, they don't charge extra for generator use, which is rare. A lot of it is in the small details that are too many to mention, but they really seem to take pride in their service. Obviously we highly recommend them and RV camping in the parks was fantastic.
Good customer service, did good work for a fair price.
This was our first time renting an RV, and C&T provided excellent service and a super clean, well maintained RV. We elected to get the housekeeping packages (4 sets) for our family of 5, including the blankets, dishes, towels,pots & pans, etc. It was everything we needed for 9 days. We had many questions along the way, both about the RV as well as our trip to Yellowstone and Ken and his team were extremely helpful. We will be back to rent from C&T again.
